How is the profit share calculated?

Modified on Sat, 14 Jan, 2023 at 7:19 PM

SkillSuccess.com Organic: 40% instructor gross profit share on organic SkillSuccess.com individual course sales. SkillSuccess.com and the instructor profit share on these sales, which might occur after a user browses the SkillSuccess.com website for courses, makes a purchase from an on-site promotion, or via our email promotions.

Paid User Acquisition Channel Sales: 15% instructor gross profit share on sales that occur due to any of SkillSuccess.com’s paid user acquisition channels (e.g., paid media, affiliates, partners, and more).

All Access Pass and Lifetime Memberships: 20% instructor gross profit share on All Access Pass Membership and Lifetime Membership sales that occur due to acquisition channels other than Paid User Acquisition Channel Sales.

For example, let's say you make a $10 sale.

-If it comes from organic on our site or email promotions, you'd get approximately $4 (40%).

-If that sale was due to a paid acquisition channel, you'd get 15% of what our take is after the fees from the paid channel. For example, we make a $10 sale and the costs associated due to marketing efforts is $2. We'd have $8 remaining and you'd get 15% of that $8 = $1.20.

-If your course is taken by a paid subscriber, the subscription share is divided based on the number of students that start your course in a given month and the total number of courses started. So for a simple numbers example, if 1 person started your course in June and 100 total courses were started, you'd receive 1% of the total instructor revenue share pool that month.
